Muffin was a very sad little rescue dog. At 14, it seemed that no one would want to adopt him. Muffin had lost almost all the hair down his back, had “weepy” sores, itched and scratched himself raw and couldn’t stop licking his feet.
Muffin was the kind of dog we see all the time. At 14 he had been through his family’s mortgage crisis, and he was a mess! We had no time to lose to help get him adopted, but who was going to want a dog that had all kinds of problems?
From a holistic point of view, we quickly assessed that not only was he undergoing all kinds of stress, but that the quality of the food he was eating was also the problem. He was handed over to us with a bag of grocery store kibble. The first thing we did was give him two daily doses of Best In Coat. This delicious, cold pressed blend of oils is designed to add all the Essential Fatty Acids needed to grow beautiful coat, heal the skin, boost the immune system and clean out the digestive tract so that the body can absorb nutrients throughout the body. Of course we fed Muffin Doc’s Stew, to provide him with the very best diet. As you can see from the video of Muffin, the transformation was nothing short of amazing.
Within a week he stopped itching and scratching. On week two, he began to grow back his coat. It took four weeks for Muffin to grow into the beautiful dog that he is today, and by week six – he looked like a show dog! Muffin got a new leash on life without the use of any shots or medications and now happily loves his “forever home” in Sarasota, Florida with a wonderful new family. They saw him at 4 weeks into our program and thought he was just beautiful! It just goes to show – that you can enhance the life of any pet by providing real, wholesome, natural food and adding the right supplements to keep them in glowing, great health.

I;m interested in what you have to say about yeast skin problems with dogs.
My pointer has an itchy yeast thing going on … She has been on a semi raw diet for years. This is not an allergy situation.
Awaiting your reply
Barbara
Hi Barb, Not every dog does well on raw (or semi raw). SO MANY people report major problems with raw food, and I have found that a smart, cooked home made food has given the most dogs the BEST results! If there is a skin problem… it’s a definite sign that there’s something about the food that’s not creating GREAT health. I would try my stew and see how amazing your sweet one is a month. Keep us posted! xxoo
Yesterday my poor 3 yr old schnauzer cross suddenly became covered in small bumps under her skin. I suspected the flea collar which I removed! Found yr website and made a batch of stew this morning. She loves it. Now I will make the skin oil. Many thanks
Hi Margot – Flea collars are very toxic. Commercial pet foods are problematic! Make the food and the oils and make your schnauzer very healthy! xox
