I am new to this type of pet nutrition, but am convinced it is the way to go. I cannot find Kelp powder locally. Is there an online source I can trust?
Try any of the health food store websites. They should all be fine! xox
I made this recipe for my pups and they loved it! I was wondering though what the portion recommendations are…I just kind of guessed. Also, is there a significant difference between using fresh or frozen spinach? If you use frozen, should you use a smaller amount?
Hi Janet,
glad your gang loved the recipe. Every pet has different nutritional needs. Age, climate, activity levels, etc. all play a role in how much they eat and what supplements should also be given. Frozen spinach (or any frozen veggie) will make the food more liquidy, so you need to portion out according to what you’re feeding. You should take advantage of my free newsletter and also get a copy of my book from Amazon. It will definitely shed a lot of light on feeding your pups the very best there is – so that they’ll be healthy their entire lives! xoxo
